AI Studio is a self-hosted studio for training, fine-tuning and evaluating small AI models on your own hardware. It covers the whole workflow: bring in data, curate it, fine-tune or train from scratch, evaluate the result, then serve it over an OpenAI-compatible API.
The architecture separates a lightweight controller (web UI, job queue, Hugging Face browsing, metrics) from GPU runners. Runners connect outbound to the controller, so GPU machines behind NAT or inside containers need no inbound port, no static IP and no firewall rule. A CUDA or ROCm mismatch only affects a runner; the UI and job history stay untouched.
